Geoffrey Cann is presently a Partner in the Calgary office of Deloitte, where he focuses on helping oil and gas companies create and embrace a digital future. He has thirty years of management consulting experience with Deloitte gained through engagements in Canada, Australia, the United States, Hong Kong, China, Japan, South Korea and the Caribbean. From 2006 to 2012, he was Deloitte’s consulting national industry leader for the oil and gas sector in Canada. In 2009, he was named the Managing Director for Deloitte’s consulting function in Calgary and held a seat on the national management committee. In 2012, he transferred to Brisbane Australia to assume leadership of Deloitte’s oil and gas industry program in Queensland. Since returning to Canada with Deloitte in 2016, he has been spearheading Deloitte’s advisory services in blockchain in the oil and gas industry. Geoffrey holds numerous publications to his name, presents regularly on Strategy topics and has been a guest lecturer at the MBA program at the Haskayne School of Business. He has a B. Comm in MIS from McGill University, an MBA from the Ivey School of Business and is a Certified Management Consultant. He is an expert in the global LNG industry.
